r. Rupa Varadarajan is a Board Certified primary care physician with several years of experience as one of the top family doctors in Cary, NC. Dr. Rupa graduated from Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore, India in 1996. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Amarillo, TX. Prior to starting her own primary care practice, she worked as a hospitalist in the Triangle area. She has privileges at Wake Med Cary Hospital.
She lives in Cary with her husband - an Engineer/IT professional, and their two lovely kids. She is actively involved in social events in the Raleigh community, volunteers at free health clinics organized by SV Temple of North Carolina and other programs hosted by non-profit organizations. Dr. Rupa is fluent in three Indian languages – Kannada, Tamil and Hindi. She enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
